Degrees & Certificates
Upon meeting requirements in the Welding Technology program, the student may apply for Certificates of Proficiency or an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. This training promotes the student to a high skill level in welding techniques and allows for seeking employment in the welding field with positions such as an engineering aide, sales engineer, structural steel detailer or trade welder. The student prepares to advance rapidly to opportunities with inspection, shop planning, supervision, or one of many related fields in metal fabrication and welding.
